Puhelimet ja muut linjat toimivat taas. Australiassa on käyty kiivasta keskustelua valtion puhelinyhtiön yksityistämisestä, ja suurin kiistakysymys on puhelinpalvelujen taso haja-asutusalueilla ja takamailla Telstran myymisen jälkeen. Meillä koko kylä oli mykkänä parikymmentä tuntia. Ei hyvä.
